The P3D4-10 10-inch, dual 4-ohm subwoofer is part of Rockford Fosgate's best performing Punch P3 series, delivering a monster 1000 watts of peak power handling. Rockford Fosgate subwoofers use anodized aluminum voice coil formers that provide superior heat dissipation (up to 100 at full power levels). Unlike traditional plastic substitutions, aluminum acts like a heat-sink to quickly dissipate thermal build-up on the voice coil. This keeps subwoofers cool during high SPL conditions.
CEA-2031Power handling on Rockford Fosgate speakers conform to CEA-2031 industry standards. This means your speaker has the capacity to handle power under continuous damand, not instantaneous power handling, that over time, can damage voice coils.
Flex Fit BasketThe Flex Fit frame utilizes slots (where feasible) instead of single screw sized holes. This allows slight adjustment of the speaker when mounted.
Stitched Tinsel LeadsMultipoint "periodic" stitched lead wire technique reduces the mass of each tinsel lead and spreads stress and strain over a greater area, significantly improving the reliability and performance of the subwoofer.
